If you are comparing wedding venue costs near Spokane, the rental price is only the starting point. You also need to know how many hours it buys, which rentals are included, and what you will arrange separately. A useful comparison puts the same guest count and the same services beside each venue's quote.
Here is a concrete example from Reed Ranch in Davenport, about an hour west of Spokane. Our Silver package is $4,800 for the venue, and Gold is $5,500 with photography, a photo booth, and audio equipment. Both include the full Friday-to-Sunday weekend. These are our published package prices as of October 27, 2026; confirm your written quote and agreement before booking.
What does a wedding venue near Spokane cost?
There is no single price that describes every Spokane-area wedding venue. An hourly ceremony space, a reception hall, and a private property rented for a weekend provide different things. Comparing their starting prices without checking those differences can leave a large gap in your budget.
Start by asking each venue for a quote based on your guest count, preferred weekends, and the time you need for setup and cleanup. Then list anything you would still have to rent or book. The goal is a realistic total for the wedding you want.
Reed Ranch's two wedding packages
Silver: $4,800. This includes a 48-hour property rental, Friday afternoon check-in and Sunday check-out, the barn and outfield, getting-ready suites, seating for up to 150 guests, on-site parking, and camping. We host one wedding per weekend, and the Reed family is on-site through the weekend.
Gold: $5,500. This includes everything in Silver, plus eight hours of wedding photography, a three-hour photo booth, audio equipment for the weekend, and an edited photo gallery delivered afterward.
The difference is $700. Choose Silver if you already have a photographer you want to bring. If you still need photography, booth, and sound, compare Gold before booking those services separately. See the full wedding package comparison for current inclusions and add-ons.
What the package price looks like for 100 or 150 guests
Dividing the package price by your guest count can help compare venue quotes. It does not turn the package into a per-person charge: the package total remains the same in these examples.
| Guest count | Silver: $4,800 | Gold: $5,500 |
|---|---|---|
| 100 guests | $48 per guest | $55 per guest |
| 150 guests | $32 per guest | About $36.67 per guest |
These figures describe the package share of your budget only. They do not include catering, drinks, flowers, attire, transportation, or other services you choose. Reducing your guest list may lower food and rental costs, but it does not automatically lower the venue package price.
Expenses to check before you commit
- Food and bar service. At Reed Ranch, you arrange the caterer and bar. Ask vendors to include staffing, delivery, setup, and cleanup in their quotes.
- Guest restrooms. One porta potty is included; the indoor bathroom is reserved for the bridal party. Plan additional guest restrooms or a restroom trailer with us based on your event.
- Music services. Gold includes audio equipment. A DJ is a separate service; the published DJ add-on is $1,500 with either package.
- Linens, tableware, and decor. Build your list around the actual items included in your agreement, then get a rental quote for the rest.
- Transportation and lodging. Camping is available on-site. Guests who prefer a hotel still need accommodation and a plan for getting back after the reception.
- Insurance, taxes, and fees. Request a written breakdown of the requirements and any amounts beyond the advertised package price.
Does a weekend rental save money?
A weekend rental gives you more time, but savings depend on your plans. Friday setup and Sunday packing can help you avoid a rushed Saturday schedule. They can also add costs if you choose to host extra meals or extend vendor coverage. Ask rental companies and vendors which collection times work with the venue's access window.
If you want a simple weekend, keep the extra gatherings simple. You can use Friday to decorate and rehearse without turning it into a second fully catered event. Our three-day wedding guide explains how the weekend can fit together.
How much is due to reserve Reed Ranch?
A signed venue agreement and a 50% deposit reserve your date. At the listed package prices, that is $2,400 for Silver or $2,750 for Gold before any additions or other quoted charges. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event. Review the cancellation and refund policy alongside your agreement.
Compare the numbers, then walk the property
Bring your guest estimate and package questions to a Reed Ranch venue tour. We can walk through the ceremony space, reception layout, camping, and the extras your plans may need. Tell us which 2027 or 2028 weekends you are considering and when you hope to reserve your venue.
