The drive to Reed Ranch is part of the experience. We’re at 41295 WA-25 N in Davenport, Washington — wheat country, about an hour west of Spokane in Lincoln County. The route there changes as you get closer: city, suburbs, farmland, then the kind of road where you start counting cattle and grain elevators instead of cars. Here’s what to expect from wherever you’re coming from.

From Spokane

Drive time: About 1 hour, 60 miles
Best route: US-2 W to Davenport, then north on WA-25 N

Take I-90 W if you’re downtown, then exit onto US-2 W. The first half of the drive is rolling pine forest; the second half opens up into wheat fields. Davenport is the last town before us — small, charming, with a great old grain elevator at the center of town. From Davenport it’s about 8 minutes north on WA-25. Look for the long driveway on your right; we’ll have signage out for events.

Stops worth making: Davenport has a good coffee shop and a small market if you want to grab anything before the property.

From Spokane Valley and Coeur d’Alene

Drive time: 75–90 minutes
Best route: I-90 W → US-2 W → WA-25 N

Plan for traffic through Spokane proper, especially during commute hours. The route through downtown is fine, just slower than the map estimates show.

From Seattle / Bellevue / Tacoma

Drive time: 4½–5 hours
Best route: I-90 E across the Cascades to Spokane, then US-2 W

This is a long but beautiful drive — past Snoqualmie Pass, Ellensburg, and Moses Lake before you hit the rolling hills of the Palouse. If you’re driving in the day of the wedding, leave very early. Most of our westside couples book a hotel in Spokane the night before, then make the final hour to us in the morning. The drive is most beautiful in late summer when the wheat is gold.

Stops worth making: Snoqualmie Falls (15 minutes off the highway), Ellensburg for coffee, Moses Lake for stretching, or just a long lunch in Spokane.

From Spokane International Airport (GEG)

Drive time: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Best route: US-2 W direct from the airport area

GEG is the closest commercial airport — major carriers include Alaska, Delta, Southwest, and United. Rental cars are available at the airport. Many guests fly in Friday afternoon and drive straight to the ranch in time for evening campfire and rehearsal.

From Tri-Cities / Pasco

Drive time: 2 hours, 15 minutes
Best route: US-395 N → WA-26 E → WA-21 N → US-2 E to Davenport, then WA-25 N

The drive through the Channeled Scablands is otherworldly — dramatic basalt cliffs, coulees, and big skies. If you’ve never seen this part of Washington, give yourself extra time to pull over.

From Sandpoint, Idaho

Drive time: 2½ hours
Best route: US-95 S to I-90 W to Spokane, then US-2 W
