Reed Ranch (reedranchvenue.com) is a small, family-owned wedding venue in Davenport, Washington. We take privacy seriously and do our best to handle the information you share with us the way we’d want our own information handled. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your options are.

Information you give us directly

When you submit the inquiry form on our contact page, you may share:

  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Your hoped-for wedding date
  • Estimated guest count
  • Which package you’re interested in
  • Any details you write in the message field

If you email or call us directly, we’ll see whatever you share in that message or conversation.

Information collected automatically

When you visit reedranchvenue.com, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically collect basic technical information that web servers normally collect:

  • Your IP address
  • The pages you visit and the time of your visit
  • The browser and device you’re using
  • The website that referred you (if any)

This is used for security (blocking bots and malicious traffic) and aggregate analytics. We do not use this information to personally identify individual visitors.

Cookies

This site does not set marketing cookies or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookies that may be set come from:

  • Cloudflare — small functional cookies used to protect the site from bots and abuse.

  • Send you the venue agreement and follow-up details if you’d like to book

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We do not add you to marketing lists without you asking us to.

Third-party services we use

We use a small number of well-known service providers to run the site and handle inquiries. Each of them has their own privacy policy, and submitting our forms or using our site means data passes through their systems:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and DDoS protection. (Cloudflare’s privacy policy)
  • Web3Forms — handles the secure delivery of your contact-form submission to our email inbox. Web3Forms does not store the contents of your submission long-term. (Web3Forms’ privacy policy)
  • Google Maps — the embedded map on our contact page is served by Google. (Google’s privacy policy)
  • Google Fonts — the fonts used on this site (Cormorant Garamond and Inter) are loaded from Google Fonts. (Google’s privacy policy)
  • Gmail — our inquiry inbox is on Gmail. Once a submission reaches us, it lives in our Gmail account along with our reply.

How long we keep your information

Inquiry emails and any related correspondence are kept as part of our normal email records. If you’d like us to delete a specific email or conversation, just ask — we’ll honor reasonable requests promptly.

If you book a wedding with us, we keep your contract, invoice, and wedding-coordination records for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period after, in case tax, accounting, or legal needs come up.

How we protect your information

Information you submit through the website is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We don’t run our own database — your inquiry comes directly to our Gmail inbox, which is protected by two-factor authentication.

No system on the internet is perfectly secure, but we use modern, reputable services and follow standard best practices to keep your information safe.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we have about you
  • Request a copy of your information
  • Ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information (with limited exceptions for records we’re legally required to keep)
  • Opt out of any non-essential communication at any time

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults planning weddings. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us through the site, please email us and we’ll delete it.

Reed Ranch is in Washington State, USA. If you submit information through our site from another country, you’re consenting to having that information transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from your country’s.
